L'Ancienne auberge de Georges Blanc / The Ancienne Auberge of Georges Blanc

En rentrant de nos vacances cet été, nous avons décidé de nous arrêter à Vonnas au coeur de la Bresse pour nous restaurer à l'Ancienne auberge de Georges Blanc. Cette auberge est la reproduction à l'identique du restaurant des Mères Blanc au début du siècle dernier. Georges Blanc en a fait un restaurant traditionnel et convivial où on peut y manger une cuisine simple, savoureuse et authentique.

Le cadre est vraiment superbe que ce soit le retaurant avec ses terrasses qui donnent directement sur le jardin ou tout simplement le village de Vonnas qui est adorable et très bien entretenu! Notre menu du jour qui comportait mise en bouche, entrée, plat et dessert (au prix de 22€!!) n'avait rien à envier à son voisin gastronomique et le service était plus qu'impécable! Je vous le recommande, quitte à faire un détour!

When we were coming back from our summer holiday we have decided to stop in Vonnas in the Bresse to eat at the Ancienne auberge of Georges Blanc. This auberge is the identical reproduction of the restaurant of the Mothers Blanc from the start of the last century. Georges Blanc turned it into a traditional and convivial restaurant where you can have a simple, tasty and authentic cuisine. The environment is really wonderful from the restaurant with the very nice garden to the adorable village of Vonnas! Our menu was composed of a pre-starter, a starter, a main course and desert (all of this for only 22€!!) and it is as good as its gastronomic neighbour and the service was impeccable! I really recommend it to you even if you have to do a detour!
