Petite ville portuaire normande, Honfleur est un petit bijou pour quiconque souhaite se ressourcer près de l'eau. J'y ai passé un weekend charmant auprès de mes proches durant lequel j'ai pu profiter du marché, des boutiques et bien entendu de la gastronomie! Après avoir pu profitez des étales du marché débordants de camembert, de poissons et produits de la mer divers et variés, d'andouille de Vire ou d'autres produits charcutiers... direction "L'homme de bois", beau restaurant typique proche du vieux bassin qui propose un large choix de produits de la mer et de viande dans une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale, le restaurant étant dans une vieille maison typiquement normande à colombage avec son intérieur en bois et son feu dans la cheminé!
Chacune de nos assiettes regorgeait de produits d'une grande fraicheur
et la présentation donnait encore plus envie! Du point de vue gustatif,
les assaisonnements et les cuissons étaient justes et l'ensemble
vraiment savoureux!

Small town on the Norman coast, Honfleur is a really wonderful town if you want to recharge your batteries next to the sea. I spend a really nice weekend with my loved ones and we managed to make the most of it going to the market, to nice shops and of course restaurants! After seeing market stands full of camembert, fishes and other sea products, Vire andouille and other wonderful meat products we went to a typical restaurant called "L'homme de bois" (the wooden man) close to the basin with a menu full of sea products and meats in a warm and convivial atmosphere. The restaurant is in a old Norman half-timbered house with wood everywhere inside and a warm fire in the chemney!
Each one of our plates abounded with really fresh food and the presentation was really tempting! The seasoning and cooking were perfect and the whole dish was really tasty!
