What a delight to eat a delicious home-made brioche on the weekends, but it's not always easy nor pleasant to wake up really early to prepare it because baking a brioche takes a lot of time!! So why don't you bake it the night before and let it rise slowly in the fridge during the night, that way you will only need to cook it in the morning and you'll be able to have a lie-in and then eat a delicious breakfast with this yummy chocolate chip brioche!
Ingredients (for 6 to 8 persons):
-4,5 cups of flour
-1 cup of milk
-5 oz. of chocolate chips
-1/2 cup of sugar
-1/3 cup of softened butter
-3 eggs + 1 yolk
-1 tablespoon of baking yeast
Put the flour, baking yeast, milk, sugar, softened butter and eggs in the bread machine. Put on dough mode (about 1h10) and keep an eye on the dough, once it's homogeneous add the chocolate chips.
Flour your counter and remove the gas from the dough. From 8 to 9 dough rolls with equal sizes. Put them in a buttered round mold. Cover and let the dough rise in the fridge for the entire night.
In the morning, preheat the oven at 350°F. Glaze the brioche with the egg yolk and a few drops of water. Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes, check if the brioche is cooked with a knife, the blade must be dry.
